The adorable moment you may have missed between Harry and Meghan at her cookbook launch
Yesterday the Duchess of Sussex was joined by her husband Prince Harry, and for the first time in public since the wedding, her mother, Doria Ragland, for the launch of her new charity cookbook, 'Together: Our Community Cookbook'.
Doria, who had flown over from LA, joined her daughter and new son-in-law at Kensington Palace, for the launch event attended by women from the Hubb Community Kitchen.
The cookbook has been created in order to raise funds for the kitchen, which has supported communities affected by the tragic Grenfell Tower fire last year.
Before tucking in to some delicious-looking recipes from the book, Meghan delivered an impressive speech without the aid of notes, while a beaming Harry and Doria looked on proudly.
But there was one moment later on in the day that proved how utterly adorable the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex are.
Before the event came to a close, Harry, Meghan and Doria headed outside to chat to the ladies from the community kitchen. And on a particularly blustery London day, Meghan, like all of us, found her perfect hair-do messed up by the wind.
And when the Duchess struggled to maintain her locks in the breeze, Prince Harry eventually came to his wife’s rescue, sweetly smoothing her hair back down into place.
After noticing what was going on, Meghan then turned to look and smile at her husband in appreciation, before turning back to the ladies from the Hubb kitchen to chat some more.
ITV News’ Royal Editor Chris Ship shared footage of the adorable moment between the pair.

And fans were delighted with the sweet display of affection, with one writing, ‘sweetness overload’, while another agreed, saying, ‘Such a cute couple! Love them both!’.
Meghan has been widely praised for her speech on the day, where she thanked everyone who had helped to put the cookbook together.
She began by saying, “Working on this project for the past nine months has been a tremendous labor of love. I had just recently moved to London, and I felt so immediately embraced by the women in the kitchen: Their warmth, their kindness, and also to be able to be in this city and to see in this one small room how multicultural it was. On a personal level, I felt so proud to live in a city that can have so much diversity.”
Addressing the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen, she also said, “I’m so privileged to know you. I’m so excited to see the projects you’re going to continue to do in your own community, the community at large, and also how you’re going to inspire people globally.”
During the event, Meghan made sure to embrace and chat to all of the women involved in the project – with whom she clearly gets on well.
And while Harry was evidently delighted with Meghan during the event, her mother Doria also couldn’t contain her excitement and pride about her daughter’s first royal project.
She was overheard telling the women at the event that she was “head over heels” with pride, continuing by saying, “It’s amazing. I’m just as excited as you are.
“The power of women – we make things happen. We’re curious, we say yes, we show up.
