Kathryn Keegan, MD
Dr. Kathryn Keegan received her BA in neuroscience and behavior from Columbia University in 2004 and then went on to work in clinical psychiatric research, focusing on mood and anxiety disorders. She returned to Columbia to complete the post-baccalaureate premedical program, and then continued on to medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she received her MD in 2013. During her studies, she conducted research on eating disorders and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Dr. Keegan completed her residency in psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine in 2019 and is currently completing an addiction psychiatry fellowship at NYU, where she works at both Bellevue Hospital Center, the nation’s oldest public hospital, and at the Manhattan Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center hospital. She also sees patients in private practice.
