Eternity Calvin Klein Celebrates 25 Years
"For 25 years, Eternity Calvin Klein has remained a top-selling global fragrance brand," said Steve Mormoris, Senior Vice President of American fragrances.
The renowned scent, composed to symbolise eternal love and commitment, launched back in 1988 and was fronted by the inimitable Turlington until 2006. In 1995, famed photographer Peter Lindberg shot this, the first campaign for Eternity, with Turlington and male model Mark Vanderloo.
"Like the iconic Eternity Calvin Klein fragrance, Christy is intertwined with the historic legacy of the house. It could not be more fitting to celebrate the eternal spirit of the fragrance and its silver anniversary, than with the original campaign imagery and Christy, who has enduring and endless ties to the brand," said Tom Murry, Chief Executive Officer of Calvin Klein.
In May this year, leading print publications in the United States, Canada and United Kingdom will present the original creative, updated with a new tagline—"Time can't touch us"—and the Eternity Calvin Klein 25th Anniversary Edition bottle. The brand will also be relauncing its original campaign video.
